First Haircut

In the beginning of January we took Bodee to get his hair cut for the first time!  Very exciting!  B has always had long, fine locks of blond hair that was so cute, but it finally started to hang in his eyes and over his ears so we decided it needed a little trim.  We were those parents who took a million pictures but I'll just post the hi-lights below.  :)  Oh, and yes, we did keep a lock of his hair.  Now if I would only start his baby book...

Happy 2011!

Happy New Year!  We celebrated NYE at our friends, Asa and Erin's house.  Matt's high school friend, Brad, and his lovely wifey and son, Jana and Taj, were in town so we got to celebrate with them as well!  Taj is only 3 days younger than Bodee so it was really fun seeing the two of them play together.  They're best buds already!  Thanks for having us over, Asa and Erin.  We had a blast!

Christmas!

Merry Christmas... a month late. :)  I've been really slacking on updating our blog so here goes... I'll start with Christmas.

A few days before Christmas we packed up the whole fam and made the 14 hour trek north to good old MN!  That drive never gets any shorter.  Our excitement to see everyone definitely helped us get there though!  We were in MN for a whole week which was awesome as we got to see a ton of family and friends!  B met Santa for the first time, we spent Christmas Eve with my immediate fam, we hit up Fargo and Wheaton to see extended family, and we got to hang out with friends as well.  It was a great week!!

Check out this vid of Bodee!  One night while we were in MN during Christmas he started to suck on his upper lip uncontrollably.  We couldn't stop laughing!  He hasn't done it since, but we sure got a kick out of it that night!
