Every Easter, the church that I grew up going to, Zion Lutheran Church, along with Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, portrays the last few days of Jesus' life on Earth through a Passion Drama. Over 250 volunteers participate in producing this drama for people of the community, and beyond, to witness. It is a walk through tour with 12 different scenes. They have been acting these scenes for about 15 years and it has become very popular as it is a very moving depiction of Jesus' life! The dates for the Passion Drama this year are April 17th from 2-5 pm, and April 19 from 5:30-8 pm. The drama is performed at Zion - 300 Lake Street, Alexandria.
Recently they have created a website for the drama including information regarding the creation of the play and when it will be shown. Please click on the following link to view the Passion Drama site: Passion Drama Site . The "Facts" tab at the top of this site will provide you with more info about the play.
If you're in the Alexandria area please go view the drama - it's awesome! If you're unable to view it in person, click on the following link to view scenes from last year's drama: Passion Drama Scenes
