Thank you, Groupon, for introducing us to CitySolve Urban Race! I had never heard of this race before but I am so glad we participated in it - it was a blast! I think the description from their website says it all...
"CitySolve Urban Race is a unique urban race
Where brains beat brawn! Teams of 2 solve clever clues and face fun challenges all while navigating the urban landscape via foot or on public transportation! It's a scavenger hunt, with all of the thrills of the amazing race, mixed with trivial pursuit, throw in a mini road race and add a dash of cat-and-mouse. And voila! You've got CitySolve Urban Race!"
At each pit stop we needed to snap a pic to prove we completed the task.. below are the pics. We competed with the Peterson's as "Team Swede" as we're all very Swedish - blond hair, blue eyes and skin that got fried in the sun! After the race we tracked our path as being 7.5 miles. We finished in just over 3 hours (this includes drink breaks... every clue lead you to a bar - what were we supposed to do?!) - we were pretty pumped!
