Happy Memorial Day (a week late...) and thank you Vets and current service men and women for all of your hard work and for keeping our country safe!
Every Memorial Day the Bolder Boulder 10k race is held in Boulder, CO. It's a very well known race as there are about 50,000 racers every year! The winners are nuts - I think the winning male runner crossed the finish line at around 29 min. I don't think I could even run around the block that fast.
This year Matt decided to run in the race (I think he's crazy). Although he didn't get to train as much as he had hoped to (who knew an infant would totally take over your life? jk ;) he still did awesome! He didn't walk at all during the entire race and finished in an hour. He thought he could have done better but I was very impressed!
Below are a few pics from the race. It ended with a lap around Folsom Field, which is the CU football stadium. I tried my hardest to find Matt amongst the racers but had no luck! ... Who knows though, maybe I caught him in one of these pictures...
The stadium went wild when these military men entered. Very cool!
Bodee cheering... "Go Dad!"
After the race. Good job Matt!
