What a Difference a Year Makes

One year ago today I had surgery to remove a malignant tumor that was located in the left frontal lobe of my brain. It was the size of a lemon. We only found out about this tumor weeks earlier and we were all in a state of shock, and not to mention completely scared. What a life changing event. With many prayers from around the world (literally) the surgery was a success. We couldn't have asked for it to go any better and were very thankful for that. About a month and a half after surgery I got pregnant! This was planned by the way. :) Who would have known that I'd be spending the one year anniversary of surviving brain cancer with such a beautiful little baby and family?! I sure wouldn't have guessed it. I feel so very lucky and blessed! Thanks for all of your prayers and support!
